Henry Rosenthal

Henry L. Rosenthal, Jr. has been a member of the Kentucky Bar since 1969. Upon graduation from the University of Kentucky College of Law and admission to practice, Henry returned to his hometown and established a private practice. In 1985, Henry and William Alan Dykeman became associates and in 1990 founded Dykeman & Rosenthal in the William Hickman House, a historic structure built in 1814.

Henry has concentrated in the areas of civil and criminal litigation, and has been both a state and federal public defender for a number of years. He has served as attorney for the Clark County, Kentucky, Board of Education for approximately twenty-six years, the Winchester-Clark County Planning and Zoning Commission, and the Winchester-Clark County Board of Adjustments. In his governmental capacity he is responsible for all the needs of the local school system, which include civil rights, employment, labor law, real property, commercial litigation, governmental/administrative practice, contract law, and general counsel to administrators, teachers, parents, students and board members.
